Please practice our cultural values !

After seeing the poll result for our deepavali celebrating , I got to know that majority of the voters are willing to sacrifice the celebration and many voters who want to celebrate it in a moderate way. I was put in a shocked and surprised stage after seeing the voters having thoughts of celebrating deepavali in a moderate way for the sake of preserving our culture. WOW! I never thought , our indian brothers and sisters are keen in preserving our culture! It is a good start to create a valuable society.

Old `Indian Crab` mentality used to split Indians in Penang? New `Indian Crab`mentality will not allow it!

Let me tell you an incident that happened to myself and Indian Club in my school during my higher secondary studies somewhere in 1985 . We were about 100 indian students and we had a very beautiful Indian Club. At the begining we were very united and were excelling with many wonderful activities. Then came two boys from another school to my school. These two boys started all the problems. Suddenly there was a slight misunderstanding among the president of the club and the boys whom I will brand them as rowdys. None of the teachers in my school like these boys. They were so well known for their roughness and rudeness. This group of boys made so much of disturbance and nuisance just to ruin this beautiful Indian Club.

240 days unlawful detention! Freedom Is Nearing...

13th December 2007

Today counts as 240 days Hindraf 5 under unlawful detention ! They were detained under dracanion law called ISA just for arrogant BN UMNO`s own political benefits. The number 240 shows the depth of sacrifices by our Hindraf 5 brothers for our community in this country. The same number 240 shows the depth of karmas or sins gathered by BN UMNO`s politician.
The great day will come soon for our heroes to get the freedom . The sinful people who create this hardship situation will be punished by GOD. The freedom is nearing and we shall remain united to achieve our goals.
A big salute for all our brothers who have scarified their freedom for us. GOD BLESS YOU AND HINDRAF.

My thoughts about Bar Council`s Conversion Forum

Well aware that Bar Council is now split into two groups. One is seeking for independent, justice and of course fair trial. Another group is following the current arrogant federal government’s index finger. The scenario is showing as though people are now more alert to discriminations and want equal opportunities in the form of fair trial/justice.
Our federal constitutions are saying that, everyone in our country is free to practice and apply their religion in their daily life. But due to some selfish politicians, this freedom in religion has been manipulated by them just for their own political benefits.

Shall We Help Our Community Or Live As A Selfish Person In This Community!

hi all brothers and sisters,
we are fully aware that we are the individuals who are now carrying the Hindraf struggle on our shoulders. Each of us has to fight for our rights and bring the pride back to our community. This is not an easy task. It needs a lot of patience, sacrifices, tolerance and etc.
As a Malaysian Indian, we need to learn to live with community and for community. In order to achieve that, we need to throw away our silly thoughts about differs in caste, religion and mother tongue. We need to obtain high class mentality to guide and educate our younger generations.

Hindraf 5: Giving BN enough rope

Hindraf 5: Giving BN enough rope
Richard Teo | Aug 7, 08 3:44pm
I refer to the Malaysiakini report Abdullah unperturbed by drop in popularity.

If the recent Merdeka Centre survey is any indication, Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and his BN are on a downward slide in the popularity polls.

The 91 percent popular support in 2004 and the downward slide to 42 percent presently is a forceful statement that clearly points to the eventual exit of the ruling government.

One would have expected BN to galvanise their resources and think tanks to address their mistakes and to try and win back the electorate that had abandoned them. But alas, instead they have remained arrogant and clearly have not changed their old habits.

Few Words For Blogger Satees!

hi Satees,
Nice to see you blogging on this site. First I welcome you to blog on this site. Happy blogging! I read both your articles in Tamil and also English. Your content sounds very upset and angry with someone in Hindraf organisation.
Well Satees, here I would like to remind you about our struggle and aims to be achieved. As we all know, 5 Hindraf heroes have been victimised by arrogant BN . One more hero`s international passport has been revoked by this same arrogant BN, leaving his status as stateless and he has to live in London as an asylum refugee.

Suhakam might lose 'A' status

Suhakam might lose 'A' status
Fauwaz Abdul Aziz | Jul 25, 08 7:52pm
The Human Rights Commission of Malaysia (Suhakam) may lose its ‘A' status from a key regulator, thus potentially barring it from attending sessions of the UN Human Rights Council.

This is following an accreditation review exercise by the International Coordination Committee (ICC) of the National Human Rights Institution. Suhakam was told by the ICC to provide, in writing, within one year of such notice, evidence to establish its continued conformity with the Paris Principles.

Are we neglecting our rights?

I wish to refer to `tak apa`mentality indians in our society in malaysia. This kind of mentality people, will always say nevermind as an excuse to avoid commitment in every aspect of their life.

Few Words For Undergraduates Universiti Utara Malaysia , Changloon , Kedah

Hi undergraduates,
let me explain to you about rules and regulations of universities. We have many local universities in malaysia which have its own rules and regulation. I think your university has a rules stating that strictly no to orientation. If i am not mistaken, that is the meaning I got on the sentence stated in Rajeswari`s letter. This is my advice for you if orientation is not allowed in your university, please don`t do it.

Hindraf wants dialogue with PM

Hindraf wants dialogue with PM
Athi Veerangga | Jul 16, 08 7:19pm
Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi should have a dialogue with leaders of the Hindu Rights Action Force (Hindraf) if he is sincere in his efforts to improve the lives of the Indian community in the country.

MCPXExiled Hindraf chairman P Waythamoorthy wants the dialogue session to be a closed-door affair and on a one-to-one basis between Abdullah and, either himself or detained Hindraf legal adviser, P Uthayakumar.

"If the prime minister and his government are sincere and honest in wanting to resolve all outstanding issues on the political and socio-economic status of Malaysian Indians, I am prepared to return for the dialogue session," he told Malaysiakini in a telephone call from London.

The day will come soon for the Hindraf heroes to get the freedom. Again I am telling , man can only plan........the one decides is GOD. The day will come soon where GOD will give his jugdement. Until that day, we promise to keep our spirit high , strong support and friutful prayers for HINDRAF. VALGA HINDRAF!

My comments on malaysiakini`s article on `` This Hindraf wife needs help, not abuse.

I would like to comment on meenaksi indian`s article on malaysiakini entitled ` This Hindraf wife needs help, not abuse ` . I am shocked and also sad upon seeing the writer`s view on Mrs. Vasantha Kumar`s plight. First, I would like to correct the writer that HINDRAF never abused anyone and it won`t do that to its own kins. To my opinion, the writer has very small limit of knowledge on HINDRAF struggle.

Attention to Mr. Thanindran HINDRAF Co-ordinator!

hi,
I would like to dedicate this article for Mr. Thanindran Hindraf Co-ordinator. Well sir, I believe Mr. Waytha has a reason why he appoints you as the co-ordinator. I believe that, great people will choose to have great risk to achieve great achievements.
I do not know about your past. I have come across so many arguements about your personal values and deeds in past. As usual I always put the positive points on you and defend you sincerely. To my point of view, the current post you are holding now is more important than the sounds made by people who dislikes you.

Indian community requests few demands! Look into these matters first. Don`t cheat us through MIC!

I foward this article to the current federal government. I am really fed up and disappointed with the way this current federal government cheating the indian community.
I would like to remind all malaysians that people are not fool. Nobody can fool anyone all the time. I feel 51 years is enough for this current federal government to fool us.

Man Plans, GOD decides, Pulau Batu Putih Case Is The Proof!

hi malaysians,
I am wondering how is your feelings after knowing the international court`s verdict on Pulau Batu Putih. It has been 20 years Malaysia and singapore struggle to get possession on this tiny island. It is considered a long time of struggle and should have brought us success. What had happened in between? Why did we fail?

'Arrest Dr M under ISA '

'Arrest Dr M under ISA '
May 23, 08 4:32pm
Give former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad a taste of his own medicine by arresting him under the draconian Internal Security Act (ISA), which allows detention without trial.

MCPX
This was the terse message from former top United Nations official Param Cumaraswamy in response to a speech Mahathir had made last week in Johor Baru.

Param alleged that Mahathir’s remarks in his May 17 speech “not only bordered on sedition but, applying his own standards, qualifies him for detention under the ISA”.

In his address to about 1,000 people in Johor, Mahathir had reportedly cited the Hindu Rights Action Force (Hindraf) group’s list of demands contained in a memorandum and asked if anyone knew the implications of those demands.
