It is disgusting to see the clumsy depths of deceit , arrogance and treachery that the UMNOputras have descended to, to preserve their "god ordained" privileges.

My god! What is happening to our country.

Saiful, the Sodomy accuser is nowhere to be seen. Who is he being protected from. What is being protected from - C4s?

His police report exists only with the police (it seems) and even Anwar the accused has not been able to see it. Then Najib, in a press conference says that the police should act in a most transparent manner so there are "no apprehensions about what they are doing" . All of this while on the other side of town Anwar is obviously agitated as he raises questions about the fact that the police have not budged one bit to provide him - the accused, with the said police report..What transparency, is Najib talking about. Transparency at the least would be a copy of the report first.

Does that report really exist or are they waiting to get Anwar's statement first then generate a a report that will be bullet proof. Or do they already have a report and are waiting for Anwar's statement , to modify the report to make it bullet proof. Whatever the case may be, just the fact that they are so reluctant to divulge the report, now even after Anwar's statement has been recorded, raises some very serious questions about the process of justice in our country that Anwar has been crusading about.

The politicians spew out their usual volumes of nonsense as orchestra at the back of the police - while the police do all the dirty work for them in the foregroud - braclava, sten guns, water cannons and all.

Then on the DNA sample issue , I have a gut feeling that the mainstream media is going to splash tomorrow all across that "ANWAR REFUSES TO PROVIDE DNA SAMPLE". The police, in the last 1998 episode have already been shown up to have doctored the DNA samples. What is the guarantee that they will not do the same this time or worse. And as Anwar rightfully raises, with Saiful the accuser under police protection, who knows how any sample may be used. Or are they already privy to some DNA of Anwar's leftover fom the 1998 episode that they can use to say was found on Saiful during the medical examination, and then match it to the sample to be obtained from Anwar.

Then, our joke of a Home Minister, in his usual smug and stupid style says " Why should he be afraid, he can bring people he trusts and give the sample, it is as simple as that" .Sometimes I wonder is he really a Simple Simon like that or is it that he wants us to believe that he is Simple Simon .

He also said something about a parliament bill on compulsory DNA submission that is in the works and if there is something at all to this DNA angle, the trump card so to speak, then we will see the DNA bill coming up in parliament soon for acceptance, all of this in time to get Anwar.

My god what depths.

However the real question to all of us is ' Do we sit and idly watch these ugly events go by and just shrug it off. '. What is the implication of all of this to us common citizens.

My anonymous interpretation of all this , is that the UMNO putras are really beginning to feel the sudden pull of gravity and are desperate to hang on no matter the people. They know they are close to the edge.

The UMNO puteras have effectively gagged us with laws of the 1950s. Now, with so many means of communication, thay can gag us no more, by us I mean all of us honest citizens who only seek to live our lives in a decent society - where the police are indeed police and the judges are indeed judges and where there is always an assured recourse to justice.

We have to start talking all around on the deceit , arrogance and treachery that the UMNOputas have descended to, to preserve their "god ordained" privilieges. We have to spread by word of mouth, by emails, by blogs, letters to the editors, in public meetings we need to speak out.

The whole power is being usurped, now brazenly. All one can see is a bunch of clumsy, brazen and idiotic UMNOputras who are trying out
Sodomy 2, choreographed to the same tunes as Sodomy 1, to try and hang on to power. But the tide of history is against them and they are all on the wrong side. We should wherever possible get to the ADUNs, MPs in the Barisan component parties and urge them to abandon the sinking ship that they are on. Better now, than never.

We cannot just sit and do nothing and hope someone else will do the work for us. Or as someone put it quite succintly - we will only get what we deserve. If you think you deserve better, get up and go.

The people must prevail..these are heady times.
